I was surprised and rather unprepared for a cold snap and snow in Manhattan yesterday. The snowflakes were some of the biggest that I had seen. This was because the lower the flakes got to the ground, they warmed up and stuck together creating a super flake.
New York rocks.
Ick. I hate snow after the yellow dust snow a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeletehope you snapped up some photo's of it
ReplyDeleteAh you can look at the weather channel?
ReplyDeleteDont eat the snow Stef... It is not good for you.
ReplyDeleteYou always see the winter of NYNY on the movies and wonder just what its like to have snow fall in a large metropolitan city, here in AKLD ya just don't get that
ReplyDeleteWell I can tell you that it was VERY VERY cold and the snoiwflakes were some of the biggest that I had seen.
ReplyDeleteHow anyone manages to live in NY in winter is beyond me. Bloody cold outside, slipping all over the place on icy footpaths wearing 8 layers of clothing. Then you walk into a building which is 900 degrees, and you have to strip at lightspeed before you start to sweat. One thing though, NY girls really know how to dress well.
