Ananda's War

This is a video about Ananda McClure who is an Iraqi war Veteran x 3 and a good friend of mine. He committed suicide in May 2006 and producer Erica Bardin has made an exceptional documentary about him and his life. It brings to attention that there are certainly more Veterans out there, from many countries, in a similar position to Ananda, who deserve our help whether you believe in the war(s) or not . The video is 25 minutes long.

The criminals who call themselves leaders need to be held to account for The Iraq War. Once we as a society start doing that, war may not seem like such a good option for these self serving cowards.

RIP dear brave friend Ananda.

No Body likes or wants war Gregory. It is a tragedy that so many lives have been lost. I am very concerned about the lady's and gentlemen of uniform who serve their country and come back as Ananda did with less support and guidance than they are due. This is an extremely important situation that needs to be addressed and remedied. Surviving serving in a war is the most important thing for the troops serving. But coming back home and committing suicide because of ptsd, lack of constant support and lack of positivity for the future is darn right heart breaking. We need to do more for the Military folks who serve in wars and come home. Having no wars would help but in a realistic world there is always unfortunately going to be some sort of conflict somewhere in the world. Changes need to be made for the better of our returning Veterans.

Some marvellous footage here. The boy was amazing and as for the ex-wife and wife, both fabulous. Nice shot of you as well Rob.

Rob, you said, "No Body likes or wants war." That is what we want to believe, but there would be far fewer wars if it was true. After witnessing George W. Bush and his associates promote the Iraq War, I have come to believe that all war is a racket.
I knew Ananda and am noted in the credits, I hear. Thank you for posting the documentary because I had not watched it before.
