Helen Clark invites George W Bush to NZ

New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark confirmed last night she had invited US President George W Bush to New Zealand after the APEC summit in Australia next year. She had also suggested that Mr Bush meet Pacific leaders while in Auckland. Maybe there will be Kava served, that would make for an interesting meeting....

Helen Clark and Mr George W Bush (#43) were attending the Apec leaders summit in Hanoi, Vietnam when Helen invited 43 to NZ (nice pic above).

HELLen spoke informally to Mr Bush for about 15 minutes at the summit. Mr Bush remained highly appreciative of New Zealand's work in Afghanistan and in the Pacific, she said. He was also interested in meeting Pacific Island leaders. I am not sure what else he could say really without wanting to offend anyone, but lets hope 43 makes it to NZ, it will be a good test on NZ's security systems and will bring some good old publicity to NZ.

If George W Bush visited New Zealand he would be the first president to do so since Bill Clinton visited Christchurch and Auckland for the Apec leaders'summit in September 1999. Now that was an interesting time.

Earlier today, President Bush and the Prime Minister shared a primo joint in her wicked rx3 at Piha. Later, after getting fish and chips in New Lynn they paid an impromptu visit to the illegal drags in Otahuhu. The President impressed several Pacific Island leaders with his burn outs in a borrowed Torana. The evening ceremony came to a close at the Loaded Hog where the President wowed everyone in the crowd with his line dancing prowess. Tracy, 19, from Browns Bay was among the onlookers - "He was awesome, and a total spunk. I was going to take him back to my flat but my ex best friend Rochelle ended up getting stuck in to him in the loo. Bitch."

How is the script writing going Ry? I am looking forward to seeing the final product... Is Helen's RX3 a coupe or 4 door, 10a or 12a nose cone?

Coupe, 12a, peripheral port job. Last time we spoke she was putting in a nitrous system, and reckons it will be good for a 10 second quarter. Winston says she's dreaming...

Nice, I'd like to think that she has a fuel injection system, as the 48 IDA sometimes hinders performance unless in perfect tune. I am not sure that Winston's HQ could keep up with it unless he is still running the 454 bored out to 463 with the 6/71 supercharger.

Ah, a blown HQ with "TU MEKE" personalized plates. Now THATS a car to cruise sunset in!
