Air Force 2

I am now back in LA, and as I was leaving Eagle/Vail airport this morning in Colorado, I noticed USAF 70400 (pictured) and USAF 90402 on the tarmack. 70400 is the plane that Vice President Dick Cheney uses, and as it was at the airport, it confirms that the VP was at the AEI meetings in Beaver Creek. Would be nice to go for a flight in that plane.

I rather like planes, and it is rare that a photo of 70400 comes out. It is also rare that the public can get so close to the Presidential wing. Therefore it is an apt post. If you don't like planes then there is no point in you looking at the post and making comments is there. You'd have been better off making a comment about The worlds fastest Indian on that post???

i thought this was interesting as its not everyday you can see a real life photo of a american presidential plane just sitting on the tarmac!

For those aviation freaks out there, its a modified Gulfstream GV. Its a little longer than a normal V, and has some extra communication gear. Knowing how many friends Cheney has around the world, I wouldnt be surprised if it has flares/chaff as well.

As with AF 1 it is probably rigged up to keep flying if there is one of those atomic flashes that ruin electrical gear....

Fuck be unto the one who posts as Steve Martin.

Miss him? Hah - he can lick a toilet bowl in a Sudanese public craphouse for all I care. In fact, let him rub shit all over his face. It would suit him well.

Anonymous, Although Bruce (Steve Martin) is somewhat of a odd ball who must have had some bad times with women in the past, as he doesn't treat them very nicely in the public domain..... He is welcome to his opinion however strange it be. I am sure he will be popping in to check on both Annika's blog and my blog from time to time. He may even be tempted to post... Time will tell. I hope he finds the time to be more polite in the future.
