Bombs in London

It seems that there has been many terrible terrorist explosions in London shutting down the city and killing at least 33 people. I have called friends in London and they are all ok at this stage. It seems that the police are working hard to catch the killers within 24 hours. I hope that this is not the start of a domino effect.

Acts of this particular level require much meticulous planning, taking full advantage of an inherent system weakness, and ideally using an unprecedented method.

The plans are so precise that even a minor impediment can thwart the efficacy of the plan. Look at 911 -- they may have planned on doing more than NY, but they did not count on the American government forcing all airplanes to the ground within three hours and closing all borders. NEVER in American history has it happened. Since it was unprecedented, they had no idea the US gov't would do this, and disrupt vital capitalist commerce.

These terrorists have an ax to grind with specific countries, and unless/until they are caught, governments can do no more than continue breaking down factions and try to be as prepared as they can.

I like what Putin said about working closer together as a world wide community to stamp out these cowardly b'stards for good.

It must take such a cowardly person to do such a horrific thing in harming others.
Fortunate enough for our family is that my cousin woke late that morning therefore on just missed the train that took them too kings cross.

Problem is, they don't see it that way. We call them cowards. They just laugh at us for being wounded dogs unable to bite. these are hard people, unable to feel hurt or compassion. Glad your cousin's OK.
