What would you do if you were Rodney Hide?

If you were all of a sudden Rodney Hide, the great MP for Epsom and Leader of ACT..... What would you do to set ACT up for a successful NEXT election? Lets say winning Epsom, plus 5 seats plus 15% of the Party vote. Would you leave things alone, or make some rather large changes......? ( No personal attacks on Rodney please ) What would you do?

If I were Rodney, I'd surround myself with successful, dynamic, creative, high-profile people.

IMHO that would change the public perception more than any policy. After it all, it is people we are voting for.

Get a great team and people will follow. A poor team won't be popular, even if the policy is good.

I was thinking more along the lines of famous business people. Imagine how John Banks would have raised Act's profile. Look at the weight that Brash brought to National.

Famous, creative business people would declare that Act is the party for successful people. This will not be popular with some sectors, but it will definitely revitalise interest in Act.
